New Stem...

Sorry for the lack of updates but i was outta town for a couple days.
I visited Nagoya (the city in which ill be moving to) to just sorta peep things out.
As for bike news, my new stem came in the other day.
I ordered the Nitto Pearl 8, formerly a vintage stem made in the 1980s, but this time around only in the silver color. Lucky for me, i was looking for a silver stem, unlucky for me the shortest size they re-made (to my knowledge) was an 80mm. But whatever...here are some pics...

Nitto Pearl 8

For those who have followed my blog for a while, youd know i have a Nitto Pearl7 on my Kalavinka. That stem is vintage from the 1980s, and you can tell by looking at the packaging.
On the left is the recently purchased Pearl8, and on the right is the vintage Pearl7 packaging.
Old school...like Bones&Harmony old school...

the nitto deluxe is not sold in japan. it is categorized as a "foreign" model here. if they did, and in 50mm, trust me i wouldve bought it.
